Rukko pedals a rickshaw that belongs to another man. He has to pay most of the money he earns to the owner of the rickshaw. This makes it very difficult for Rukko to provide food, shelter, medicine and an education for his family.
Including himself, there are nine members of Rukko’s family. There is his wife, five sons and two daughters.
Rukko would like a loan so he could purchase his own rickshaw. The interest free loan needs to be between £30 and £40.
