Kusum is eight years old and lives with her mum, dad and sisiter on an isolated farm in a region of India called Gujarat. She has to walk with the aid of a frame which is too small for her, The house where she lives is approached by some steps so she is unable to take herself outside. These pupils live in a poor tribal area of Gujurat in India. There parents cannot afford to pay for their children to go to school. Donations already made have meant that they can go to school. There are still many children who need support so they can attend the school. £10 pays for one pupil's uniform + book. ... read more
