School Aid Network (SAN) Trustees were at the Bett Exhibition, Olympia, London, meeting educationalists from the UK and around the globe. Everyone we spoke to expressed a keen interest in the SAN Website. Representatives from the Indian and Bangladesh High Commissions visited the stand. The British Red Cross has opened an appeal to help hundreds of thousands of people affected by the crisis in Kenya. The country erupted into violence on 30 December following the results of the presidential election. Hundreds of people have been killed and injured, and hundreds of thousands displaced due to the clashes. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is working with the Kenya Red Cross to help the wounded and displaced.
