Spilsby Pupils Present a Cheque
The Year 3 pupils at Spilsby Primary School presented a £100 cheque to Dr and Mrs Islam for their ABS UK Projects. The money will be used as an interest free loan for four families i n Bangladesh to enable them to be self employed and better able to support themselves. When the money has been repaid, probably in just over a year's time, it will again be used to support some other families. DARE TO CARE
The Dare to Care Campaign launches on 19th September 2007 to encourage individuals to give their time to help end child poverty in the UK. CSV, Barnardo's, Children's Links, The Children's Society and NCH are lead partners in the campaign providing 35,000 opportunities for people who would like to get involved to help . Children's Links and School Aid Network will be responsible for a Healthy Play Month in January 2008.
