A New life for over 80 people in Bangladesh
An interest free loan of £870, shared between 15 families in Bangladesh, will make it possible for over 85 people to expect a higher standard of living for the foreseeable future. The loan, when paid back, can then be used to support some more families in improving their future. These improvements can include health, education, nutrition, housing and clothing. Build a New School In Togo
You will see from the photo that the existing school building leaves a lot to be desired. The building is made of dried mud; the classrooms are dark, small and open to the elements so classes are often disrupted or halted altogether by rain, wind or the sun. Health in Hull for Health in Bangladesh
The staff of a Hull Health Centre arranged a social evening to raise money towards building a hospital in a remote district of Bangladesh. The team from Morrill Street Health Centre arranged refreshments, music and a traditional film show. The excellent refreshments ranged from an English cup of tea to the spicy food of Bangladesh.
