UNICEF Earthquake Children's Appeal: February 2010

The earthquake has killed or injured many thousands of children. Many are in desperate need of clean water, shelter and medical help.

UNICEF UK supplies are getting to Haiti – cargo planes have landed in Haiti‚ reaching thousands of families with supplies including sachets of ready-to-use therapeutic food and water purification tablets.

We urgently need your help so that we can reach more affected children. Please make a donation today.

A gift of £26.50 could provide 75 sachets of therapeutic food.
A gift of £50.00 could provide 5 families with basic water kits.

The situation for children in Haiti was already difficult before the earthquake hit the island. It is one of the poorest countries in the world and is struggling to recover from years of insecurity, instability and massive natural disasters.

All children have rights – these are most at risk of being denied in emergencies. UNICEF is working to ensure that the rights of children affected in Haiti are not forgotten.

Please give whatever you can to help protect and support children affected by the earthquake in Haiti by making a donation today.
