Red Cross update on the Haiti earthquake : January 2010

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Haiti Earthquake Appeal. Red Cross aid is getting through, but more is needed.
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and the long-term impact of the earthquake will be significant. The level of public generosity has been incredible, but the sheer scale of this disaster means much more will be needed.
