Exciting Day for SAN and Education For All: September 2008
Members of School Aid Network and Education For All met today at Corby to pack our 40' container ready for its journey to Bangladesh. It was an exciting day for all members as it was our first container travelling to any country in Asia.
The container took around three hours to fill. A list of the
items and their destination are at the bottom of the page.
The team from Education For All were wonderful. It might have something to do with the tea and their kitchen being cleaned while they were busy moving and packing!!!
The Immam, whose school will receive some of the items was there to see the container off on its journey to Bangladesh. When the packing was finished he led prayers and blessings before the doors were finally shut and the lorry made its way to the port of Felixstowe.
The last item to be packed was the Green Bag and an Education For All 'Red Chair'.
