Concert for Mini-Enterprises: June 2008
The pupils of Caistor Church of England and Methodist Primary School gave a concert to raise money to donate towards Mini-Enterprise projects. A pupil committee decided on the concert and enlisted the assistance of teachers, parents and friends of the school.
The school orchestra and choir as well as individual pupils took part in the concert. Mr. Johnson even brought along Elvis to perform one of his great songs. The audience gave a standing ovation at the end of the concert.
The pupils provided refreshments and sold craft items. No entry fee was charged but the pupils did request that visitors made a donation towards the evening. A final account has not been completed but it is estimated that around £300 was raised.
Before the end of the term the committee hope to organise a disco the proceeds going to the mini-enterprise fund.
Following all this the committee will have to decide which mini-enterprises they wish to support.
