DARE TO CARE: September 2007
The Dare to Care Campaign launches on 19th September 2007 to encourage individuals to give their time to help end child poverty in the UK. CSV, Barnardo's, Children's Links, The Children's Society and NCH are lead partners in the campaign providing 35,000 opportunities for people who would like to get involved to help .
Children's Links and School Aid Network will be responsible for a Healthy Play Month in January 2008. Schools and Children's Centres throughout the UK will be invited to use materials to engage children in more active play through traditional games.
They will be asked to enroll a volunteer to lead activities with children at break time or after school.
